50 Cent And Tekashi69 Shot At On Music Video Set
Shots were fired on the set of Tekashi69 and 50 Cent’s music video set.
Witnesses have said that the rappers were on the set of their music video for the song ‘Get The Strap’ in Brooklyn at around 10:30pm on Tuesday (August 14).
Brooklyn rappers Casanova and Uncle Murda were also on set.
TMZ report that a white Porsche with New Jersey license plates turned up at the filming, and fired at least 11 gun shots.
Thankfully, no one was injured during the attack.
The shell casings found at the scene suggest the shooter used a 9 mm semi-automatic weapon.
Sources connected to rapper Tekashi69 don’t think the shooter was targeting Tekashi or 50 Cent, but police aren’t certain whether this is the case.
A surveillance video of the scene is being reviewed by police, but no one has been taken into custody as of yet.
In 2015, Tekashi plead guilty to using a child in a sexual performance, after he posted a video online involving a 13-year-old girl.
The rapper was also accused of choking a 16-year-old girl at a shopping mall.
Tekashi could be facing up to three years in jail for his actions.
In July, the 22-year-old was reportedly kidnapped from outside his house, attacked and robbed. According to TMZ, the rapper was coming home after working on another music video in Brooklyn when another car appeared and blocked his driveway.
Men with guns are said to have knocked him unconscious before robbing him.
NME report that the rapper later posted to Instagram, writing:
Yesterday morning I had a feeling that it was my day to die. May GOD strike me dead if I’m lying. Everything happens for a reason. I know you was there. Nothing materialistic is more important then LIFE.
