Lego Inspired Brick Bars Are Opening Across The UK
Lego doesn’t stop being fun once you are all grown up and forced to wear a suit. Indeed, there are few things in adult life more satisfying than applying that final brick to your multi-coloured masterpiece.
And yet there is a distinct lack of Lego related activities at conventional adult gatherings. For those of who would much rather build a Millennium Falcon with our friends than strut about attempting to flirt, this is sad state of affairs indeed.
Fortunately for London and Manchester dwelling Lego heads, hope is on the horizon in the form of fun pop-up bars which will be sprouting up in both cities as of Spring 2019.
Consisting of a mind-boggling one million Lego blocks, each pop-up will be a whirlwind of fun; complete with dress up, ball pits and lots and lots of bricks…
Surrounded by nostalgia-inducing Lego sculptures at every turn, patrons will have the chance to play with Lego bricks to their hearts content.
Somewhat excitingly, there will be prizes for the best builders, so if you are in the professional building business yourself you should definitely pop on over and have a gander.
A local DJ – who will reportedly be a human being rather than just a giant Lego man – will entertain guests with non-stop tunes as they enjoy cocktails out of giant Lego bricks to wash down the brightest burgers you will ever see.
According to The Brick Bars website:
How long has it been since you pulled out your old building blocks, rounded up your friends and sat around creating and crafting castles, ships and whatever else you can imagine?
If you’ve been waiting for an excuse, or your parents have given away your once beloved blocks this new pop up Adult playground might be just what you’re looking for.

Brick bars have previously been built all over the world; creating memorable moments for friends in cities such as Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
Those who have visited one of these playful pop-ups have had plenty of constructive praise to share about their brickin’ good time.
One person reasoned:
Who doesn’t want to drink cocktails in a ball pit!
What a fun afternoon from brick burgers to brick thrones! I nearly took my shoes off to get into the Lego pit but quickly realised it was a really unwise idea…
Although there will be toys a plenty, this is very much a grown up playground and all under 18’s should be accompanied by a responsible (ish) adult.
It’s been far too long since I’ve had a legitimate excuse to play with Lego, and I personally cannot wait to build the night away with like-minded master builders. Now, pirate ship or castle? I just can’t decide…
Tickets will be available on a first come first served basis, and so it is advised you register your interest here to avoid disappointment.
