Talented Girl Who Is Blind And Can’t Speak English Be
Wow! Is this the best ever rendition of Whitney Houston’s cover of ‘I Will Always Love You’ you’ll ever see? Probably.
The late Houston has one of those voices, you’d be hard pressed to argue against, who really can’t be emulated, or shouldn’t.
Still, the public makes attempts to perfect the 1992 smash hit, from karaoke to the X Factor, and fail almost every time.
One girl, seemingly not fussed about TV talent shows, has defied the odds and restored hope for those who still can’t reach Houston’s notes.
Elsie, from the Philippines has gone viral after nailing the song, which was featured in The Bodyguard.
In her acapella element, the teenager has notched up thousands upon thousands of views on Facebook.

This is Elsie again with another song. She is blind since birth, cannot speak English but she memorized these songs and sings like an angel!
She has never been to school, never learned English. She listens to songs and learns the song. She has one of the most Amazing voices I have ever heard. She lives in a small fishing village in the Philippines.
One commenter wrote:
That is what talent is. What and amazing young girl and her voice speaks for it self.
Wow! Brought tears to my eyes! Beautiful young lady with an amazing gift.
Thank you for blessing the world with this video! Presume competence! She’s beautiful!
A third added:
Omg that was absolutely amazing!! I always say no one can do Whitney like Whitney, clearly I was very wrong!
One person gushed:
I love you my sister, you have a beautiful gift a appointed and anointed voice. Use it to give God the glory, and God will bless you abundantly. God bless your family as they keep you in the place of worship, in the presence of God.
Houston died in early 2012 just as rumours began to swirl that Simon Cowell was courting Houston for a mentor spot on The X Factor.
On February 11, the day before the 2012 Grammys, the singer was found dead in her bathroom at the Beverly Hills Hilton.
The cause of death was found to be accidental drowning caused by heart disease and cocaine use. The Grammy ceremony paid tribute to her life with a Jennifer Hudson performance of “I Will Always Love You.”
Let’s hope this is the start of a promising career for Elsie.
